My name is Mikela. I am married to this insanely good looking man named Jonathan. We live in Houston, which is where I was born and raised. I am one of four, and Jonathan is one of six. We both graduated from the University of Houston with business degrees. My husband is on staff with a small local church and I work as an assistant in a real estate company. We both want to use our lives to impact the world for the kingdom.
I am a girl of many interests. I love learning new things. I love cooking and mostly cook gluten free, dairy free foods. I love adventures and being out doors. I love reading and do so frequently. I am an extrovert. I love people and I love hearing people's stories. I love being in community, it has literally changed so many things about my life. I love coffee and exploring local coffee shops. I love creating, sometimes that looks like writing, sometimes drawing, sometimes it looks like just day dreaming. I am currently learning piano and I am super excited about that. I love learning about the world and current events. I love encouraging people to live out their passions and desires. I like to err on the side of grace and compassion. I love laughing and not taking myself seriously. I really love my husband, he is the best person I know.
